Friends of the Bayard Community School are gathering Saturday, Aug. 27, for an all school reunion. Graduates and friends are invited to join the fun on Bayard’s Main Street 2 – 11 pm.
The Bayard public library will be open from 9 am – 5 pm. Graduates are asked to stop at the library to update their names, addresses, email and phone numbers on the computer.
The Bayard Hall of Pride will be open for viewing the large display of Bayard School memorabilia 2 – 8 pm. Bayard Busy Quilters are hosting a quilt show in the Bayard United Methodist Church sanctuary 1 – 5 pm.
Several meeting places will be open for visiting. They include the Methodist Church, Church of Christ, St Patrick Catholic Church, Community Center and the South Park shelter house.
Food trucks will be open to provide meals to attendees from 5 – 8 pm. Clint Deardorff will serve beef meals and trimmings while Fernando and Sara Ruiz have a Mexican food truck. There will be desserts, too, with Tori’s Angels and Danielle Olson’s ice cream truck.
Eagle’s Run Bar and Grill will have beverages and food available 2 – 11 pm.
Pat Graney will DJ the music on the south end of Main Street 7 – 11 pm.
For guaranteed, comfortable seating, bring your own lawn chairs.
